- How much electricity does the MV-1 use?
The MV-1 draws 8 amps when heating, but generally it draws only one amp or so. It is a very efficient machine.
- How often does the MV-1 require cleaning or maintenance?
The MV-1 is a very reliable machine and generally requires no maintenance. You may have to change the fuse once a year or so. As for cleaning, the MV-1 should be wiped down with a clean, damp towel once a week or as needed, and the drip tray may need to be emptied and rinsed out.
- I need more choices of coffee. What are the options?
Please see our products page for the most popular flavors. To get a good range of flavors, it is suggested to serve Mocha, Cappuccino, and French Vanilla. Other flavors are available by special request and minimum orders may apply.
- Why are the European Roast and Columbian coffee mixes more expensive even though the bags are smaller?
Thats because it takes much less mix to brew a cup of coffee. But each bag produces a greater number of cups of coffee.
- Can I load hot chocolate or tea into these machines?
Yes, some customers, especially in locations where children may be present, enjoy Hot Chocolate. Tea is available by special order only - please contact us for more information.
- How many cups does a 2 lb or 8 oz bag make?
A safe estimate is 60 cups, but it may be 80 or more cups depending on the settings you have chosen for your MV-1.
- Do I require supplies of cream or milk alongside the machine?
We have found that most customers love the coffee products without having to add anything extra. Some operators will put creamers and sugar next to the machine, but in our experience these are seldom used.
- Does the MV-1 vend any other size cup?
The machine is configured only for the 6.5 oz. cup.
- How do I place a service call, if needed?
You may contact us at any time. However, you may be able to save some time by looking at our Customer Service page before contacting us.
- What is required if there is a loss of power (a power cut)?
Nothing. The MV-1 will re-start automatically unless it is switched off.
- Do you have instructions on how to use and program the MV-1?
